Recycling Pick-Up Service Changes

EFFECTIVE NOVEMBER 1, 2024
The Carroll County Solid Waste District (CCSWD) has appreciated the opportunity to provide recycling services to those in the county. However, it is impossible for us to continue providing this service.

This does NOT include the City limits of Holiday Island, Eureka Springs city limits, Berryville city limits, Green Forest city limits, and Alpena city limits.

You may keep your recycle bin and use it to take your recycle items to one of our drop-off centers. Eureka Springs Recycle Center will be open on Saturday mornings from 8 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Berryville is also open on Saturday mornings 8 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and Green Forest drop-off is open 24/7.

We will continue to provide recycling service until October 31, 2024.

Eureka Springs Service Alert

Per Eureka Springs Ordinance No. 2348:
Standard weekly trash service shall be for one 35-gallon container or one trash bag with a maximum capacity of 35 gallons.  If more than one container or bag of trash is placed at the curb for disposal, it must be identified with a bag tag. Bag tags can be purchased for $2.00 each at City Hall or where designated by the city. Any overflow or excess bag of waste not marked with a bag tag will be left on the curb.
